The hotel is situated in a charming location near neighboring hotels and is perfect for attending events at nearby venues. The rooms are comfortable but would benefit from a refresh. The staff goes out of their way to assist, though there are occasional lapses in attention. Nearby cafes offer dining alternatives, but prices may be on the higher side.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms, of a foldout type similar to those in student accommodation, were good but in need of better maintenance and refurbishment. Some amenities like the TV were not functional, and the decor appeared tired and worn.
Service
8.0
The service was generally excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. However, there were occasional instances of staff being preoccupied with personal matters.
Location

My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The room, while a bit small for a 4-star hotel, did offer an excellent garden view that was pleasant. However, it was disappointing to find that the room did not match the photos and description provided at the time of booking.

The dining experience was average, with the standard continental options available. It wasn't exceptional, and the prices may not have been justified based on my friend's disappointment.

6.6/10

The hotel room was small but enough for what I needed for the night, especially at half price. It was situated next to the kitchen extraction flue and was very noisy, but overall, it was much better than expected, although some issues remained. The service staff were not helpful, especially at breakfast, and were slow to clean the used tables, but on the bright side, they were friendly and pleasant overall. The location was ideal for getting around London, with a short walk to Oxford Street, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The dining experience wasn't very hot, and despite paying over £450 for a 2-night stay, it wasn't quite as expected for a continental breakfast, which was also noted as being extortionately expensive. The facilities were decent, offering basic amenities. Overall, the stay had its ups and downs, but it was acceptable for a short visit.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though slightly small, were clean and cozy. The service varied from unhelpful during breakfast to kind but challenging to communicate with. The hotel's location was convenient, with several attractions within walking distance, but the internet services were overpriced. The dining experience was mediocre, with limited options and overpriced meals.

Rooms

The rooms at the back of the hotel, overlooking the garden, were slightly small but clean and comfortable. However, one of the beds was a child's pull-out bed, which made accommodation for two adults uncomfortable.
Service

The service during breakfast was unhelpful and brusque, but later they compensated by offering us free breakfast on the second day. The room service was efficient, but language communication was a bit challenging.
Location

The hotel's location behind the BH Museum was fine, with easy access to three nearby tube stations, making exploration convenient. It was within walking distance to popular spots like Leicester Square, Covent Garden, and Oxford Street.
Dining

The dining experience was average, with breakfast prices seeming overpriced for the offerings. The food quality was subpar, and fresh items were sometimes served cold.

However, the prices for additional services like internet were on the higher side, around $160 Canadian dollars.

My stay was fantastic! The hotel rooms were clean and perfect for a short stay, but they were uncomfortably hot and stuffy with no way to adjust the temperature. The service was top-notch, especially with a personal touch for my son's birthday. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to major attractions. Dining was good but slightly overpriced for what was offered.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms seemed to have been partially upgraded, but some issues like a loose faucet and drainage problems were evident. On the bright side, my room overlooked a beautiful garden square and had a comfy feel. However, being situated in the basement beneath the main dining room was a downside.

The hotel definitely needs air-con as the rooms were boiling hot even with the fan on. Additionally, the proximity to the noisy kitchen extraction flue was a downside. However, the standard premier inn type rooms are comfortable.
